According to a recent report by Knight Frank India, unsold residential inventory across eight major markets has increased 4% year on year to 5,25,695 units in the first half of 2026.
The increase in unsold inventory is not uniform, however, and masks a significant trend – the rapid accumulation of inventory in premium and luxury housing segments.
